A hole in every shoe

Well, there I was walking down the street and saw this. After thinking of the irony of it, and soon finding others I discovered it wasn't a random encounter but an intentional thing. Certainly deserving of the WTF category.

  1. This is taiwanese engineering at its best.
It's a good way to represent how Taiwanese are working, a nice "temporary fix" which is going to stay there forever (until someone finds a bigger boot or an umbrella to put in).
If we actually want to push a bit further down the line, we can also notice that they even did not have enough intelligence to use the same pair of boots to stuff the holes, they must have a "boot trailer" only for that purpose.
